Local Information

View From Your WindowThe Vale of Belvoir is an Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Walkers & strollers are spoilt for choice, the level walking along the Grantham Canal, the jubilee walk towards Belvoir Castle, for the more adventurous tramp along the Viking Way, wander through Muston Meadow Nature Reserve, or just explore the pretty local villages.

We have planned circular walks starting at the cottage of 1, 3, 8 and 12 miles. Within 300 metres you can access 26 miles of canal towpath and 140 miles of the Viking Way. We also have planned circular drives that take in scenic parts of the countryside not usually visited. Click on the right handside links to download pdf examples.

Bikes are also available for guests use.
